📔Server Rules

Welcome to Relapse Roleplay! We are an inclusive FiveM server, welcoming to players at all experience levels. We foster a semi-serious roleplay environment, while still allowing for deep, meaningful storylines.

Below is a general list of our server rules/definitions of rule breaks. Any rule breaks will be subject to punishment at staff's discretion (warning, temp ban, perma ban). Bans are NOT to be discussed in the server.

🗣️English Speaking Server🗣️

This is an English speaking server and you are expected to communicate in English while in the server.

🎙️Working Mic/Mute Option🎙️

All players must have a working mic, with push to talk enabled. Exceptions will be made for those that are unable to speak, a ticket may be opened if this applies to you. The use of voice changers is allowed, as long as your character is still understandable.

🚫Zero Tolerance Topics & Toxicity🚫

There is zero tolerance for any racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexual harassment, or assault. This includes IC and OOC. Roleplaying sexual assault, pregnancy, and suicide is forbidden.

You must treat everyone with respect. While you can have “beef” with someone IC, any overly toxic behaivour or OOC bleed will not be tolerated.

🎮Hacking🎮

Any sort of hacking is not allowed. Visual enhancements that provide any sort of advantage are not allowed either.

💔ERP💔

ERP, or Erotic Roleplay, is strictly forbidden and is a punishable offense. Players are able to be in romantic relationships, but any sort of sexual roleplay should not be done in the server.

👤Original Character Names👤

Your character may not have the same name as any fictional or non fictional character.

❌Fail RP❌

Failing to respond to /me’s, lying to EMS about your injuries, using paid hostages or friends as hostages, talking normally while downed, etc.

🖥️Metagaming🖥️

Metagaming involves taking knowledge you have gained OOC, and bringing it IC. If you did not learn it IC, your character should not know it.

🪰Exploiting🪰

The use of glitches, bugs, etc for personal gain is forbidden. Please report any glitches or bugs to us so they can be fixed. If something seems “off” please open a ticket so we can verify.

🗑️Asset Dumping🗑️

Asset dumping is strictly forbidden. This would include giving vehicles, properties, or money to someone, or another character you have created, before you temporarily or permanently leave the server. Accepting asset dumping, without reporting it, is also a punishable offense.

⛔Powergaming⛔

Powergaming would be forcing another player down a specific RP path, with no other options, or using in-game mechanics to alter a situation and benefit you. It could be something like shooting another player despite them complying with all of your demands or roleplaying that your fingerprints have been burned off to avoid being identified.

🔌Combat Logging🔌

Exiting the game or respawning during an active scenario. Usually done to avoid repercussions such as jail time, or being robbed.

🟢Green Zones🟢

Hospitals and the attached sidewalk/parking lot are considered “green zones”. No crime or aggressive/hostile behaviours can be initiated within these zones, however if a hostile situation leads to, or passes through, a green zone you are able to quickly finish the scenario without punishment. This would include posting aggressive/hostile things on IC social media, or texting/calling other players. You are NOT to use the green zone as a “shield”. Gang sprays are also not allowed to be placed in green zones. If police bring suspects for medical attention, they cannot be interfered with inside the green zone UNLESS a pursuit or rescue attempt was already active before police reached the hospital, and the players involved followed them there. Holding up or ambushing officers during the handoff inside the hospital or while loading suspects into vehicles on hospital property is not allowed unless the above conditions were met. You are, at any time, permitted to wait outside of the hospital and attempt a rescue/pursuit after the police and suspects have left the hospital grounds.

🪦New Life Rule🪦

If you are downed and are helped by EMS, or transported to the hospital to be healed, you are able to remember all of the events leading up to you being downed. However, if you are downed and respawn at the hospital, you are not able to remember the events leading up to you being downed, unless it was self-inflicted such as starving/dehydrating, falling from high places, ejecting yourself from the vehicle, etc

🫵/me🫵

/me can be used to describe something that your character is doing, an injury, a facial expression, or anything else that your character cannot communicate normally. /me is NOT for describing something your character is thinking. You may not lie in a /me.

For example you CAN do ”/me has a confused look on their face”. You CANNOT do “/me is wondering what is going on”.

Your /me must match how your injury was inflicted. You cannot do “/me has road rash” if your character was shot.

😇Remaining In Character😇

Please avoid using OOC terminology. We are okay with regular IC terms such as, “muscle” to refer to keybinds, “third eye” to refer to using alt, “green grass” to refer to safe zones, etc.

☠️NVL☠️

You must value your characters life as if it was your own. If you are being held at gunpoint, you must comply. The exception would be if you are a criminal running from the police and they have their weapons pointed at you. The use of jumps or risky escape routes in police chases are permitted despite the fact that they would most likely harm your character in real life. Jumping off of a tall building while on foot, to evade police, is not allowed.

⚔️RDM/VDM⚔️

RDM, or Random Death Match, and VDM, or Vehicle Death Match, refer to inflicting harm on another person without proper initiation. Before inflicting harm on another person you must initiate on them, to the point in which they could reasonably predict/understand what you are going to do next. You may not harm someone without a roleplay reason behind it.

👥Group Limits👥

Criminals are limited to a group of 6 during any illegal activity. This 6 would include anyone actively committing the crime as well as anyone to be used as a getaway driver and/or on the radio giving call-outs. If you are initiated on while in a group of larger than 6, all parties may respond. However, if you are in a group larger than 6, you cannot be the party that initiates hostilities. Police are able to respond +2. For example, if a criminal group is 3, the police are able to respond with a maximum of 5 officers.

🔫Gangs🔫

There is no limit to the amount of gang members you may have. Allowlisted gangs are eligible to access the gang app on the laptop, which allows you to place custom graffiti/sprays to claim your “turf”. You are also eligible for an MLO for your home base, eventually. Gangs must first be established and active before being allowlisted. A ticket may be opened once you are ready to apply to be allowlisted.

🚔Restarts and crime🚔

All crime, excluding stealing a vehicle for transportation purposes, is forbidden 15 minutes before, and 15 minutes after the server restarts. This is a general rule, however please ensure there is enough time to finish a complete chase and arrest scenario before the server restarts, before starting any sort of crime.

🚨Corruption in Government Employees🚨

Corruption in government employees is not allowed without staff permission. If you are interested in this type of roleplay, please open a ticket.

💸Robbing💸

Players may only be robbed of the valuables that they have on their person at the time of the robbing. You may not force someone to retrieve items from their vehicle or home, or force them to get cash from an ATM. You cannot remove all items from a player. For example, you should leave items such as consumables, ID’s, or collectible/personal items (unless your character has an actual RP reason for doing so). Cops may NOT be robbed of class 2 and 3 weapons. They are able to be robbed of anything else, if there is an RP reason behind it (wanting a better weapon is not a good enough RP reason). However, they should not be treated as loot boxes.

🩸Torture RP🩸

Torture RP requires /ooc consent before proceeding. If you do not have consent, you are only able to down the player as normal.

🔞 Nudity 🔞

While there are options in the clothing store for your character to be nude, your character is not permitted to wear these options without being fully clothed. These options are to be used strictly for under other articles of clothing.

🔥Fire Starting🔥 Any attempts to make comments that will rile up the community, either in city or in Discord, are not allowed and will be promptly deleted by staff. If you continue to post in that manner after your comments have been deleted, there will be further consequences at the discretion of staff.
